Company History Otto Gustave Ferro started what was then known as Marcus Hook Plumbing and Heating Company in 1931. He ran the business for 20 years until Howard E. Ferro took over in the early 1950's. Under new management, Howard E. Ferro Plumbing and Heating started their fuel oil delivery operations. Howard's son, Thomas E. Ferro, took over the business after Howard's passing in 1972. Under Thomas' guidance, the company added central air conditioning installations and repairs to its operations in 1982. Thomas E. Ferro formed the corporation as it currently exists in 1996 and holds the title of President. Mr. Ferro has expanded the company's service area to include Delaware and Chester counties in Pennsylvania, as well as northern New Castle County in Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore.
